The Nursing Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the registered nurse in providing comprehensive care to residents. This position involves delivering personal care to designated residents and participating in care planning and documentation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Possess the necessary knowledge and skills to care for residents in a Long Term Care environment, including elderly, young adult, and middle-aged individuals.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, nutritional needs, and medical treatments in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Team Leader promptly.
- Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both residents and staff by adhering to established safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be registered with the MN Board of Nursing as a Nursing Assistant.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
