Stockroom Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Stockroom Associate to join our team at Hannaford. As a Stockroom Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels in our warehouse. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our store.

• Receive and process incoming merchandise, verifying quantities and reporting discrepancies
• Stock cases and shelves, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Assist customers with finding items and provide excellent customer service
• Maintain productivity levels and meet established volume/activity standards
• Work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a team

• Effective communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and 60 pounds occasionally
• Ability to stand or walk 100% of the time and perform frequent reaching, grasping, and lifting
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and handle various substances associated with cleaning materials and food products

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment
• Ability to use computers and communication systems required to perform job functions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
