Phlebotomist II

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist II to join our team at MassGenics. As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical laboratory by collecting and processing blood samples from patients.

• Collect blood samples from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Label and process blood samples according to established laboratory procedures.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of blood samples, including centrifugation, splitting, and freezing.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure seamless sample processing and delivery to testing areas.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and procedures.

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
