Job Summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH is seeking a dedicated and caring Associate Preschool Teacher to join our team at the Laconia Early Learning Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and uphold the BGCCNNH mission and values in daily practice
  • Support children and teachers in achieving their goals and objectives
  • Ensure the health and safety of children at all times
  • Engage with children through activities, games, and educational programs
  • Assist with cleaning and organizing the classroom
  • Document child observations and progress
Requirements
  • Associate teacher qualified before November 6, 2017
  • Minimum of 9 credits in related coursework or 1000 hours of supervised child care experience
  • Knowledge of child growth and development
  • Ability to form developmentally appropriate relationships with children
  • Ability to motivate members and manage behavior problems
  • Ability to communicate with staff, families, and community members
