Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with production teams and management to identify the most effective maintenance strategies
  • Record maintenance activities utilizing SAP software
  • Consistently communicate updates, changes, completion timelines, and cost estimates related to maintenance tasks to management
  • Oversee and guide a team of employees and contractors to fulfill maintenance requirements, while also engaging in hands-on tasks as necessary
  • Develop strategies to efficiently maintain or enhance production in alignment with management objectives
  • Relay equipment and facility requirements to the Operations Manager as needed
  • Manage maintenance costs and secure management approval for significant expenditures
Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in facility and heavy equipment maintenance, with a strong focus on fluid hydraulics and conveyance systems
  • A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role overseeing a maintenance team of 5 or more
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to interpret Hydraulic & Electrical Schematics, perform combustion engine repairs, and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude; able to maintain composure in challenging situations
  • Capable of functioning as a team player in a dynamic environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
  • Experience with maintaining material handlers, excavators, tractor trailers, and hydraulic machinery
Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory
