Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and restocking shelves.
  • Inventory Management: Restock shelves, coolers, and displays, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare food and operate food equipment, follow food sanitation guidelines, and maintain safe temperatures.
  • Safety and Security: Follow safety procedures, including fuel dispensing, and maintain a safe and secure store environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, vendors, and management.
  • Physical Demands: Able to carry, push/pull, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds alone, prolonged walking or standing for up to 8-10 continuous hours.

Working Conditions: Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, work alone and/or with others, work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
