Role Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team providing exceptional medical and nursing care to critically ill adult patients. The ICU is a specialized 16-bed unit designed to deliver advanced care for patients facing severe health challenges.
The unit is equipped to perform complex procedures, including advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management, essential for treating patients with acute and critical conditions. Due to the intensity of care required, patients may necessitate one-on-one nursing support.
Our team collaborates closely with intensivist-led groups for comprehensive patient management. The ICU staff operates within a multidisciplinary framework, engaging with physicians, social workers, case managers, physical and occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, dietitians, chaplains, and pharmacists to address the diverse needs of our patients.
This unit also accommodates intermediate and medical-surgical overflow patients, ensuring a flexible approach to patient care.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure/Certification: Must maintain current RN licensure in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification is required, along with ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications for specific areas.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience is required.
