Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate patient care, counsel patients under the direction of supervising physicians.
- Rounding on patients, reviewing care plans with nursing staff as established by physicians.
- Assisting in the operating room, with vein harvest experience required.
- Performing physical assessments, completing patient histories.
- Completing discharge summaries.
- Ordering medications, treatments, labs as permitted under Ohio State Medical Board supervision agreement.
- Available for call, holiday responsibilities.
- Other duties determined by supervising physicians.
Requirements:
- Certified by NCCPA.
- Current licensure with the state of Ohio as a physician assistant.
- Completion of an accredited PA program.
- Master of Science in Physician Assistant related field as outlined by Ohio State Medical Board.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
