We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Rosetta Imaging. As a Mammography Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality Women's Imaging care with compassion and respect.
Key Responsibilities- Operate mammography radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic and screening imaging exams, ensuring optimal quality of images.
- Communicate effectively with Radiologists to confirm required exam details and ensure accurate patient information.
- Review and correlate patient's prior imaging reports, using Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System lexicons, to categorize procedures.
- Prepare patients for exams, providing clear explanations of procedures to alleviate anxiety.
- Perform mammography exams according to established standards and procedures, adjusting imaging equipment as needed.
- Assist physicians in performance of mammographic image-guided interventional/special breast exams or procedures.
- Perform general x-ray exams, including bone density exams, as required.
- Safely handle specimens and ensure all labeling, paperwork, and imaging is sent to Pathology.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- New York State Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Mammography.
- Minimum of 200 mammography exams performed within the past 24 months.
This is a full-time onsite position, Monday - Friday 9:30am-6pm, employed by Mallard MSO, LLC. Our salary range for this position is $ $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
