About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ruths Chris Steak House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
    • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory control, and food safety
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
  • Culinary Excellence
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items
    • Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation
    • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
  • Financial Management
    • Manage kitchen budgets and inventory
    • Monitor and control food costs and labor expenses
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability
  • Guest Experience
    • Ensure that all guests receive an exceptional dining experience
    • Monitor and address any guest complaints or concerns

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment
  • Formal culinary training and education preferred
  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
