About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our team at Jacksons Food Stores. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling customer transactions and processing payments.
  • Restock shelves, displays, and coolers as needed, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Assist customers with purchases, answering questions and providing product information.
  • Maintain a safe and positive work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Availability to support business needs for a 24/7 operation, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a strong sense of teamwork and communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period, with frequent walking, bending, and twisting.
