We are seeking a highly skilled and certified medical assistant to collaborate with our nurses and physicians to determine patient needs, prepare patients for examination and treatment, and provide for patient comfort. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to determine patient needs and develop effective care plans
• Prepare patients for examination and treatment, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Monitor patients' physiological status and report any concerns to the healthcare team
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and equipment
• Perform initial screenings of patients and assist with medical treatment as needed
• Provide emergency first aid measures and perform Basic Life Support (CPR) as required
• Assist physicians with minor surgeries and physicals, and assist with scheduling tests and treatments
• Maintain accurate patient files, records, and other information
• Screen telephone calls for referral to the nurse or physician

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a medical assistant
• National certification as a medical assistant
• EPIC experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (CBL) certification required
