The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in developing high-quality food products that meet the nutritional needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate AAFCO/States compliant high-quality, nutritious recipes that meet company standards and product requirements.
  • Maintain company knowledge of technical and scientific developments in the field of nutrition and food science.
  • Ensure required documentation and records are maintained to substantiate product label compliance standards, feeding guidelines, statements of nutritional adequacy, and advertising and promotional claims.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance Teams to ensure ingredients meet the necessary nutritional requirements.
  • Assist Consumer Service Team in providing qualified, professional responses to consumer feedback.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to provide nutritional knowledge to increase sales.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • PhD in Animal Nutrition (Companion Animal Nutrition preferred).
  • Extensive knowledge of dog and cat nutrition and related sciences.
  • Experience in pet food recipe creation (dry, wet, treats, and canned).
  • Working knowledge of dry food manufacturing processes and operations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
