Auditing Professional

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

We are seeking an Auditing Professional to join our team at Holiday Inn Express McCook. As a key member of our operations staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Responsibilities:

• Audit and balance all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, lounges, banquets, and room service.
• Audit and balance front desk operations, including room charges, phone calls, zero balance folios, corrections, adjustments, taxes, disputed charges, over/short figures, deposits, etc.
• Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for preparation of daily reports.
• Balance and close all bank ticket codes daily.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in auditing, especially in the hospitality industry, preferred.
• Ability to accurately solve mathematical problems with few to no errors.
• Strong attention to detail to spot errors in documents and discrepancies in transactions, accounting, and other reports.
