Job Description

Fortive Corporation is seeking a seasoned Identity and Access Management (IAM) professional to join our growing global Security team.

We are looking for an experienced IAM engineer with a strong background in managing directory services, authentication protocols, and conditional access policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to prioritize work based on business objectives and have a comprehensive knowledge of identity and access management principles and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize on-premise and cloud-based identity infrastructure, including domain controllers, group policies, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Continuously improve identity services by evaluating innovative technologies, implementing best practices, and optimizing performance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex identity-related issues, ensuring minimal impact on end-users.
  • Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency.
  • Coach other members of the organization on best practices for identity and access management.
  • Stay up-to-date on current IAM threats and industry solutions.
  • Perform ongoing identity policy enhancements for all operating companies.
  • Perform integrations into our Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, including Cyberark Privilege Cloud and Cyberark Endpoint Privilege Manager.
  • Develop and maintain Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions to provide efficient and effective lifecycle and access management.
  • Work with operating company IT and Fortive IT teams to build out continuous improvements in the identity space.
  • Work with vendors on providing product updates, bug fixes, and managing relations.
  • Create clear and concise documentation to formalize work stream processes.
  • Implement a least privilege access model across all platforms.
  • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory, LDAP, DB, UNIX/Linux, and AWS IAM.
  • Experience with PCI and SOX audits.
  • Link technical capabilities to strategic vision and business needs.
  • Define success metrics and SLAs.
  • Define and manage product roadmaps, identifying gaps and suggesting best practices to enhance security posture.
Requirements:
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise identity solutions, both on-prem and SaaS.
  • A background in managing directory services.
  • A strong ability to prioritize work based on business objectives.
  • A comprehensive knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies, including multi-factor authentication and JSON Web Token (JWT).
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management principles and processes.
  • Experience with Single Sign-On tools, including SecureAuth, Siteminder, PingAccess, PingFederate, ForgeRock, OKTA, and Azure.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with identity and access management technology, including two-factor authentication, authentication protocols, conditional access policies, group policy, and privileged access management.
  • Integration experience with SAML, OpenID Connect, and OAuth.
  • Experience with one or more programming languages, including C++, Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or Perl), LDAP, SQL, and web services.
