About the Role

The Property Book Specialist Lead will be responsible for coordinating the processing of asset requisitions, receipts, inventory data, turn-in, and unique item tracking using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) system. You will also perform research to ensure accurate property accountability, verify internal controls to protect government interests, and generate reports as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process services in support of asset requisition, receipt, short-term holding, inventory issue, redistribution, classification, turn-in, maintaining hand receipts, annexes, adjustment reports, reconciliations, and serial number and unique item tracking.
  • Perform research to ensure accurate property accountability.
  • Verify internal controls protect government interests and generates reports as required.
  • Use GCSS-A for transactions, accountability, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with GCSS-A and warehouse experience.
  • Knowledge of Property Book H/R procedures and Property Book level knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military experience.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
