Inpatient Adult Case Manager

The University of New Mexico Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN specializing in Inpatient Adult Case Management. This role involves working with both adult and pediatric patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Certification Requirements- BCLS certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications may be necessary based on specific unit requirements.
A New Mexico nursing license can be pending at the time of application. Candidates must possess acute care experience, with a minimum of 2 years in inpatient settings.
Unit InformationThis position is within the Case Management unit, focusing on Inpatient Adults with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:25.
Experience Requirements- 2 years of inpatient acute care experience is required.
- First-time travelers are welcome if they have prior Acute Care Management experience.
Guaranteed hours are set at 36 hours per week, with the facility permitted to call off staff up to 3 times during a 13-week assignment.
Additional Information- No weekend shifts are required.
- On-call duties are not necessary.
- Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.
- Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted.
- Requests for time off exceeding 7 days require prior approval.
RN state license requirements will be validated prior to employment.
