Job Overview

Designer Greetings seeks a skilled Card Product Retailer to maintain product displays and build strong relationships with customers in 20 stores across Manhattan. This part-time role requires two days per week to ensure product visibility and meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently. A smartphone and reliable transportation are essential for this position.

Compensation Package

\

We offer a competitive $22-$28 per hour salary, with opportunities for additional earnings based on store performance. Our retailers are independent contractors, providing flexibility in scheduling and ongoing work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain product displays and ensure they are visually appealing\
  • Build strong relationships with customers and respond to their inquiries\
  • Process new orders and maintain accurate inventory levels\
  • Put up and take down holiday cards using plan-o-grams\
  • Process card returns after the holiday season\
  • Assist with stock replenishment and manage warehouse inventory\
  • Smartphone required\
  • Dependable transportation needed\
  • Previous experience in retail sales or merchandising a plus\
  • Familiarity with card products and point-of-sale systems beneficial\
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred\
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills\

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods\

  • Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work weekends and holidays\

  • Background check and fingerprinting may be required\
  • CPR/First Aid certification a plus\
  • Automobile insurance and personal accident insurance may be required\

  • Familiarity with product distribution centers\
  • Having previous experience working with merchandise would be beneficial\
