Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Joliet, Illinois.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during procedures, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during procedures, including catheterizations and angioplasties
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
