Electrical Engineer Job Description

Stronghold Engineering, a leading Electrical Contractor, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on various projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and monitor electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Repair and replace electrical circuits and equipment as needed.
  • Lead and train other electricians in electrical procedures and techniques.
  • Operate and maintain high-voltage switchgear and controls.
  • Install and maintain various types of motors, lighting fixtures, and generators.
  • Interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair primary distribution system malfunctions.
  • Plan electrical secondary system additions and modifications.
Requirements:
  • Current General Electrical Certification issued by the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
