Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join a prominent international automotive company. This role is crucial in implementing a national inventory strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, including sales growth, market share enhancement, and optimal inventory turnover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a national inventory strategy to meet corporate sales and service level goals.
  • Negotiate solutions for constraints such as back-orders and late purchase orders while ensuring quality targets are met.
  • Proactively procure necessary parts and provide timely availability and delivery information to support dealers and field operations.
  • Analyze parts availability and determine optimal stocking locations to maintain inventory levels that meet key performance indicators.
  • Implement a 'SMART' stocking strategy in alignment with the material matrix.
  • Utilize Supply Chain Principles effectively to optimize operations.
  • Establish delivery plans to ensure critical parts availability, including vendor back-orders and initial stock orders.
  • Monitor vendor service levels and ensure retail back-orders are addressed appropriately.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on parts issues and recommend alternative suppliers as necessary.
  • Manage order processes, considering vendor lead times and in-transit inventory.
  • Optimize transportation modes to minimize logistics costs while maximizing profit margins.
  • Track daily order volumes and analyze deviations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with planners to address scheduling conflicts and changes.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and scheduling for assigned parts groups.
  • Review forecast exceptions and adjust reordering strategies accordingly.
  • Analyze back-order trends and recommend changes to inventory parameters.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for planning functions and processes.
  • Provide weekly updates on open issues to the Supply Chain Management Business Unit.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in integrated supply chain management, finance, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in JDA and SAP is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically as needed.
