This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the mission of providing quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment. As a Respiratory Therapist Registered, you will be responsible for providing direct respiratory care in various patient care areas, including general floors, critical care, and emergency rooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic respiratory care and develop plans for the delivery of therapy as directed by physicians or protocols.
  • Administer and monitor critical care procedures, such as mechanical ventilation, physiological monitoring, and diagnostic procedures.
  • Evaluate patients' needs related to therapy modality, frequency, and duration of treatment regimes ordered by physicians.
  • Communicate with physicians about pertinent patient evaluation data and make recommendations for changes in specific modes of therapy.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved program of Respiratory Therapy
  • RESP-LIC KY licensure
  • RRT certification
  • BLS-CPR certification
  • ACLS certification within 3 months (excluding sleep study unit)
