We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Coordinator to join our team at Southern Bank. As a Loan Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting our Loan Officers in various duties, ensuring timely and professional service to our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify information related to loan origination, including credit reports, appraisals, and title reports.
- Assist loan customers with routine inquiries and provide accurate information regarding loan details.
- Prepare and review loan documentation, including disbursement worksheets and loan documentation checklists.
- Ensure timely filing of liens and other necessary documents to protect the bank's lien on collateral.
- Collaborate with loan officers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HMDA and CRA.
- Receive and process tracking reports, ensuring that outstanding issues are properly documented and cleared.
- Perform various clerical tasks, including filing, photocopying, and scanning loan files.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or loan administration.
- Knowledge of general banking policies and procedures.
