About the Role

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Technician to join our rehabilitation team at our Lockport, IL outpatient clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the front office coordinator with administrative tasks, including patient check-in and scheduling appointments.
  • Support clinicians with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and assisting with exercises.
  • Provide routine treatments, such as applying hot/cold packs and using modalities like Ultrasounds and Electrical stimulation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and washing linens.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a rehab aide or in a related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment and a strong background in customer service are essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide compassionate care to patients.
