Orthodontic Assistant

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Orthodontist, you'll perform clinical and technical procedures, prepare patient operatory and equipment, and assist the doctor during examination and ortho treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly and calmly with patients and parents about treatment needs and plans.
• Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms are obtained.
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
• Provide clear and concise documentation of treatment rendered using electronic and paper dental records.
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking as needed.
