Job Title: Aerospace Engineer

At Analex Corporation dba Arcfield, we are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical analysis to support customers making informed decisions that optimize performance of large, complex systems.
  • Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models to perform detailed technical analysis.
  • Review and interpret system performance specifications to ensure simulations and models are accurately evaluating desired performance.
  • Review, evaluate, and interpret analysis results and present them to customers with recommended courses of action.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science or similar technical discipline.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI w/ poly clearance.
  • High degree of computer literacy with ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools.
  • Competence/experience in one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
  • Strong analysis skills, with the ability to identify and accurately describe system issues.
  • Ability to write and speak confidently, articulately, and clearly in order to participate in and brief at technical meetings.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
