Responsibilities:
In alignment with our healthcare philosophy, the Security Officer is responsible for a range of tasks aimed at safeguarding the premises of the Medical Center. This includes preventing incidents such as theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access, while ensuring the safety of all individuals on site.
- Monitor and patrol the facility to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Provide assistance and support to staff, patients, and visitors in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess a valid California Driver License.
Must hold a valid California Security Guard Card Permit.
Completion of the Hospital Security Officer Training Program within a specified timeframe is required.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in security or law enforcement is advantageous.
Special Skills:
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is preferred for new hires.
To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate, analyze situations, and respond to inquiries from various stakeholders. A solid understanding of security protocols and the ability to utilize technology for reporting and documentation is essential.
