Job Summary

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the Med-Surg Neuro-Stroke unit. As a LPN, you will have the opportunity to master skills such as insulin drips, heparin drips, peritoneal dialysis, chest tubes, trachs, tube feeding, NGT placement, peripheral IV placement, and blood and biologic administration.

Responsibilities

Our Nursing team members are trained to care for patients with acute neurological deficits; primarily Stroke, but also Seizure disorder, Encephalopathy, Encephalitis, Migraines to mention but a few. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a targeted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio of 1:4-5.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
  • A minimum of two years patient care experience preferred (within the last 5 years)
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Current BLS (CPR) Healthcare provider certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments
