Marine Electrician

Pacific Shipyards International is seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join our team. As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and repair of marine cables and equipment, as well as the installation and connection of lighting and electrical power systems.

• Install, test, and repair marine cables and equipment
• Install and connect lighting and electrical power systems
• Troubleshoot and repair shipboard and facilities electrical systems
• Use and maintain hand and power tools, as well as various test equipment
• Read blueprints, drawings, and schematics

• Must have a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid State of Hawaii driver's license

The Marine Electrician will work in a shipyard environment, which may include exposure to heat, dust, humidity, rain, sun, and wind. The position requires the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid electrician's license or identification card
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in electrical systems and equipment
