Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team at Sumitomo Rubber North America, Inc. as an Over-the-Road (OTR) driver in our Joliet, Illinois Distribution Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a commercial tractor/trailer vehicle OTR, transporting goods across the country
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks of the truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, including E-logs and other paperwork
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet delivery deadlines and customer expectations
  • Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience driving a commercial tractor/trailer vehicle OTR
  • Valid IL Class A Commercial driver's license
  • Clean driving record with good MVR
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical demands of the job
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to professionalism
