About the RoleRISE INC FAMILY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in their daily lives, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support
- Provide behavioral supports and interventions to promote positive behaviors
- Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive support and services
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
- Must have a desire and interest in working with people with disabilities or special needs
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job
- Must have the ability to successfully pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
- Reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting individuals, if applicable
