Material Handler

Service Thread is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods.

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials from the warehouse to processing areas
• Supply processing areas with packaging items such as cones, boxes, and separators
• Properly strap and shrink wrap finished goods on pallets for transport to the warehouse or shipping
• Weigh finished goods and charge electric forklifts when not in use
• Clean and maintain forklifts as needed
• Collect and dispose of cardboard, used pallets, scrap yarns, and waste receptacles
• Maintain a neat and organized warehouse for raw material storage
• Unload raw materials upon arrival and locate them in designated warehouse areas
• Correctly scan in inventory as needed
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE when required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous Material Handler experience in a manufacturing facility or similar relevant experience
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team and lift 25-30lbs
• Ability to stand up to 12 hours per shift and work in shifts, including late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary
