Key Responsibilities of the Senior Laboratory Specialist include:

  • Develop, analyze, and collect samples of biological aerosols to aid in countermeasure research
  • Monitor telemetry data from animal models throughout experimental procedures
  • Execute studies autonomously and in collaboration with team members across various phases
  • Perform a range of assays including plating assays, ELISA, RT-PCR, microarray, cytokine analysis, and characterization of viral and bacterial stocks, as needed

Required Qualifications for the Senior Laboratory Specialist include:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a BSL-3 or BSL-4 laboratory environment
  • Prior experience with telemetry systems or aerosol research
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline

Compensation for the Senior Laboratory Specialist includes:

  • Salary/Rate Range: $30 - $38 per hour, based on experience
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Includes Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k options
