**Job Title:** Cardiac Sonographer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. as an Echocardiogram Technologist. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and staying up-to-date with the latest echocardiography technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound exams, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms (TTE and TEE), to obtain accurate images of the heart's structures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists to tailor echocardiograms to patients' specific medical conditions.
• Ensure proper documentation and interpretation of ultrasound images to aid in diagnosing heart conditions.
• Stay current with developments in echocardiography technology and techniques to maintain the highest standards of care.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and communicate imaging findings.

Qualifications:

• Certification in Cardiac Ultrasound or Echocardiography from ARDMS or CCI is required.
• Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in performing echocardiograms or working as a cardiac sonographer is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Working Conditions:

• The Cardiac Sonographer typically works in a hospital or clinic setting.
• The position may require standing for extended periods, moving patients, and working with ultrasound equipment.
• Regular shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be required depending on the facility's hours of operation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to assist in lifting or moving patients who may require assistance.
• Stamina to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Visual acuity and manual dexterity for handling ultrasound equipment.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
