Muskogee Public Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
The Muskogee Public Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks at the City of Muskogee's public facilities, including parks, recreation centers, and public buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of public facilities, including cleaning, painting, and repairs.
- Operation of light to medium-sized vehicles and construction equipment.
- Application of pesticides and herbicides to maintain landscaped areas.
- Cleaning and maintenance of park areas, including restrooms and office/break room areas.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- One (1) year of experience as a trades helper or maintenance laborer in any of the construction and maintenance trades.
- Possession of a valid Oklahoma Class D driver's license is required.
Working Environment:
Work in this classification is primarily indoors with occasional outdoor work. Will travel to other City locations as required. Exposure to moderate noise levels and varying temperatures. Requires ability to work weekends and holidays as required.
