Configuration Specialist

The role of Configuration/Deployment Technician is a hands-on entry-level position that involves supporting the Configuration Center in meeting client IT needs.

This includes imaging laptops and PCs, packaging equipment for shipping, troubleshooting hardware, and performing other tasks as required. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of IT principles and be eager to learn and grow their skills.

Key responsibilities include following written work instructions, kitting equipment based on customer requirements, unboxing and re-boxing devices, cleaning and testing IT devices, and escalating technical issues to supervisors.

In addition to technical skills, successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

A High School Diploma or GED, along with relevant training or experience, is preferred, but not required. Valid driver's license and physical stamina are essential, as the role involves lifting up to 60 lbs., standing, bending, and transporting IT equipment.

This is a 6-month contract position, with opportunities for extension and potential full-time employment. If selected, you will be working on-site, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am-5 pm, with reimbursement for mileage if occasional travel to client sites is required.
