Job Overview
The Student Nurse Apprenticeship Program at ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte is designed to provide RN students with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting while completing their nursing education.
Key Responsibilities
As a Student Nurse Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and be responsible for assisting with patient care, observing and reporting patient conditions, and performing various duties that do not require licensure.
Requirements
To be eligible for this program, you must be currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing school and meet the following requirements:
- Be in the 2nd semester of an accredited RN nursing program
- Meet the program's eligibility criteria
