Job Summary

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant PRN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of medically prescribed Occupational Therapy in support of medical care as directed by the primary physician and established by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Utilize the written and otherwise communicated plan of care to deliver Occupational Therapy services.
  • Work with patients of all ages, race, creed, gender, and disability without bias or prejudice.
  • Act as a member of the interdisciplinary team in helping the patients and their families achieve the highest level of functioning.
  • Supervise and instruct Rehab Techs/Restorative Techs in regards to Occupational Therapy Services.
Requirements
  • An Associate degree/certificate/diploma from an Occupational Therapist Assistant program that has been accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
  • Minimum of one year of experience preferred.
  • Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
