About the Role:

This is a full-time position working nights, with a schedule of 7pm to 7am, 3 shifts a week. You will be working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing respiratory care to critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer oxygen, aerosolized medication, and other respiratory therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including intubation, surfactant administration, and airway clearance.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
  • North Carolina State Licensure or Provisional License.
  • Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
