Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

At PSI Affiliates Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing individual and group therapy to children with speech, language, and developmental needs in various educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy to children with speech, language, and developmental needs
  • Conduct evaluations to assess children's progress and identify areas for intervention
  • Develop individualized intervention plans to address the functional and educational needs of each child
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student growth
  • Help students overcome challenges related to speech, language, and communication, ensuring their academic success and social well-being

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
  • Speech-Language Pathologist License issued by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board (required)
  • Experience working with children in an educational or pediatric setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in team settings
