Job Summary:The Per Diem Nurse will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients in a variety of settings. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Three (3) years of recent triage experience or experience prioritizing competing clinical priorities.
- Three (3) years of nursing at charge nurse or hospital supervisor level experience in an acute care hospital preferred.
