About the Job

ColumbiaCare Services is seeking a highly skilled Residential Therapist to join our team. As a Residential Therapist, you will provide on-site clinical services for our Columbia Rose RTF and Willamette Rose RTF programs in Portland, Oregon. This position requires the ability to assist with training and clinical oversight of the Residential Associates who provide 24-hour residential support services to residents.

The Residential Therapist will report to the Clinical Manager for day-to-day supervision and work assignments, and be supervised by the ColumbiaCare Clinical Director for clinical standards and quality improvement. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, and be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, assessment updates, and treatment plans
  • Provide clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and liaison with other community providers
  • Be accessible by phone for emergency purposes
  • Participate in crisis de-escalation training and perform various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
  • Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration
  • Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check
  • Physical ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach, and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
