About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Brockton Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review orders and prepare patients for radiologic exams, ensuring accurate and efficient procedures.
  • Perform radiographic examinations while adhering to radiology protocols and safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and image quality.
  • Operate radiologic imaging equipment, portable units, and c-arms in compliance with ALARA principles, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing radiation exposure.
  • Support radiologists as needed, providing accurate and timely information to facilitate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Record all patient information accurately in RIS, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Evaluate radiologic images for quality and accuracy, identifying any issues or concerns that may impact patient care.
  • Ensure adequate supplies in the Radiology department, maintaining a clean and organized environment that supports efficient workflow.
  • Clean exam rooms and equipment appropriately after each patient, adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that imaging equipment is in good working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for timely repairs.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork.
Requirements
  • Radiologic technologist certification from an accredited institution.
  • ARRT and Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license.
  • BLS certification.
