**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced instructor to teach courses in Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts at the Los Rios Community College District. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned classes, developing curriculum, and engaging with students who are passionate about the hospitality industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts at the undergraduate level.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet student learning outcomes.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge in the field of Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts.
  • Participate in curriculum development and review.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. A bachelor's degree or higher in Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts or a related field; OR, any associate degree and six years of professional experience in the field; OR the equivalent.*
