Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at NovaCare Rehabilitation in State College, PA.

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. You will be responsible for implementing high-quality physical therapy services, maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients, and enhancing client relations with facilities and their staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive interactions with facilities and clients.
  • Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff.
Requirements:
  • A valid state license (where applicable), registration or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant upon graduation from an approved curriculum for Physical Therapist Assistants, and having passed a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
  • State license and/or certification must be valid in the state in which the individual will practice.
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
