ML Accelerator Scientist for Trust and Safety Systems

We are seeking a highly skilled ML Accelerator Scientist to join our team at Amazon, where you will play a key role in developing advanced algorithmic systems that ensure the trust and safety of millions of customer interactions every day.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of applied research experience and 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications. A PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience is also acceptable.

You will work collaboratively with engineers and business partners to design and implement solutions at scale. Your responsibilities will include developing large-scale solutions for high-impact projects, introducing tools and techniques to solve problems, and demonstrating depth and competence in more than one area.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will influence the team's technical strategy, develop tools and practices that streamline the work of the team, mentor junior team members, and participate in hiring.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience programming in Java, C++, Python, or related languages
  • Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
  • Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, TensorFlow, NumPy, SciPy, etc.
  • Experience with large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.

As an ML Accelerator Scientist at Amazon, you can expect a salary range of $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on your location and experience.
