At Climate by Design International, we're seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Fabrication Specialist, you'll be responsible for fabricating sheet metal parts for HVAC equipment casings using blueprints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Set up jobs and tooling for safe and efficient operation.
• Use measuring tools accurately, including angle gauges, tape measures, and Vernier calipers.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.

Requirements:

• Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience, including using small hand tools.
• Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.
• Complete sub-assembly weldments, including filter racks, coil drain pans, and isolation boxes.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work area.
• Have a voice in implementing changes in methods or procedures.
