Job Overview:

The starting wage for this position is $16.25 per hour, with potential increases based on experience and qualifications. As a valued member of CoVantage Credit Union, you will also receive benefits equivalent to $12.50 per hour. These benefits include a 401k employer match of up to 200%, an annual bonus of up to 4% of your salary, a generous employer contribution to your Health Savings Account (HSA), and paid time off for community service. Additionally, this role is eligible for a $1.25 per hour pay differential.

Compensation Example: Based on an individual earning $15.75 per hour, selecting specific benefit packages, and achieving the full bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional, professional service to members and assist with Interactive Teller Machines as required.
  2. Provide accurate information regarding credit union products and services, directing members to the appropriate department when necessary.
  3. Process transactions for member accounts with precision and efficiency.
  4. Open new accounts and process consumer loans to ensure optimal member service and align with organizational objectives.
  5. Work a flexible schedule, including multiple Saturdays each month.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with prior experience in a financial institution or a service/sales role. A working knowledge of software applications such as Microsoft Office and Windows is essential. Familiarity with the credit union's services is highly desirable.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as this role involves daily interactions with a diverse range of individuals. Candidates should demonstrate punctuality, maintain a professional appearance, and exhibit proper business telephone etiquette.

Successful candidates will show above-average performance in accuracy, productivity, and member service.
