Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) who are passionate about enhancing the lives of our residents. As a CNA, you will collaborate with our healthcare team to assist residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal assistance, and mobility support. You will also be responsible for administering medications and monitoring residents' health and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents in achieving their highest level of independence while providing personal care and assistance with daily living tasks.
- Implement treatments as directed by the Registered Nurse in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Utilize a computerized charting system to maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Observe and report any significant changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and medication management.
- Perform additional duties as required to support resident care.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program or willingness to obtain certification.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and compassion in a caregiving role.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
- Able to work extended hours while standing.
- Ability to perform essential job functions while adhering to safety protocols.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English to effectively communicate with residents and staff.
- Understanding of the Resident's Bill of Rights.
