Paramedic/CCP Position Overview

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of EMS? MMT Ambulance is seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic/CCP to join our team. As a Paramedic/CCP, you will be responsible for administering basic and advanced life support treatments, safely operating and maintaining emergency vehicles, and delivering competent patient care in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer basic and advanced life support treatments within the Paramedic/CCP scope
  • Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in compliance with laws
  • Deliver competent patient care in various settings
  • Apply EMS procedures in practical situations
  • Interact professionally with healthcare personnel
  • Document information accurately in our charting system
  • Assist fellow EMS providers and provide comprehensive reports
  • Maintain equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and restocking supplies
  • Adhere to company and local agency policies and protocols
  • Demonstrate a clean appearance and professional, ethical behavior
Requirements:
  • Current CPR certification
  • ACLS (AHA) or ALS (American Red Cross) certification recommended
  • Current position-specific state certification or a NREMT specific certification with ability to obtain reciprocity is required prior to start date
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record
Competencies:
  • Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress
  • Possess good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle adverse situations effectively
Physical Demands:
  • Physically strenuous and can be emotionally challenging
  • Involves bending, sitting, kneeling, moving and lifting patients and equipment
  • Must be able to drive/ride in ambulance for extended periods of times without issue
  • Physical agility necessary to lift and move patients safely
